Moogfest Headliner ODESZA Shares "It's Only" Video

Following a massive 2015 marked by an entirely sold out world headline tour, ODESZA has unveiled a new video for In Return song “It’s Only (feat. Zyra)” via Pitchfork.  Selected as a Vimeo “Staff Pick” for Dan Brown’s stellar direction, the video comes ahead of another headline run of major festivals this spring and summer including stops at Mysteryland, CRSSD, Boston Calling, Moogfest, Shaky Beats and more to come. “It’s Only” will also be accompanied by a forthcoming remix package including remixes by RÜFÜS DU SOL, 20syl, Kania, and Fei-Fei, out February 19.

On top of that, ODESZA will return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 18th for their first ever solo headline show at the legendary venue. Last year, they co-headlined with Chromeo to a sold out crowd.  This year, RÜFÜS DU SOL will open the show, along with other special guests to be announced. The Australian dance trio is the latest signee to ODESZA’s record label, Foreign Family Collective, having recently announced the Jan. 22nd release of their new album, Bloom.

The ODESZA Red Rocks fan pre-sale begins tomorrow, Jan. 19th, at 10am Mountain Time with general on-sale to follow at 10am Mountain Time on Saturday, Jan. 23rd. Follow ODESZA on Facebook or Twitter for more information on pre-sale tickets.  General admission (purchase here) and VIP tickets (purchase here) are available including limited availability for a backstage tour before the show.

Okeechobee Fest Announces Jungle 51

Can't stop. Won't stop. Organizers of the Okeechobee Festival are thrilled to announce Jungle 51, an under-the-stars electronic music stage guaranteed to provide the ultimate in sensory overload. Set apart from the main stages in a lush, tropical environment, Jungle 51 will go from dusk until dawn each night of the festival and feature performances from Legacy Detroit comprised of Derrick May & Delano Smith, performing for the first time together under this new guise; dance music DJ icons Damian Lazarus and John Acquaviva; Marcel Fengler and Virginia - both residents at Berghain, Berlin's temple of techno - as well as artists such as Russian house master Anton Zap, who will be making his U.S. debut. Jungle 51 is sure to fulfill the dreams of discerning fans of underground dance music. The full list of Jungle 51 talent is listed below.

The Jungle 51 stage area will feature mind-blowing stage design and décor from renowned Broadway set designer Daniel Brodie ("Aladdin" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat"), lighting from Max Mackintosh, whose installations at venues such as the Palazzo Dei Congressi Roma have garnered worldwide raves.

Jungle 51 is curated by Sheik N' Beik, a music/lifestyle collective that has produced some of New York City's most talked about underground house and techno events. Their parties reflect a euphoric, welcoming spirit that is sure to appeal to Okeechobee attendees looking to enhance the festival's communal vibe.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is presented by Soundslinger, LLC, an independent company founded by Steve Sybesma formerly of concert pioneer Sunshine Promotions, Paul Peck formerly of Superfly, and a team of all-star producers who have presented other major festivals and countless concerts around the globe.

The Ritz Raleigh Weclomes Ratatat

Since The Ritz Raleigh was purchased by Live Nation in the fall of 2014, the venue has experienced a much needed and noticeable makeover that is attracting better known artists to the Triangle.  While Raleigh has no shortage of local talent to keep live music enthusiasts content, the Ritz Raleigh has welcomed acts that traditionally would have bypassed the state's capital for the more established Fillmore in Charlotte, also owned and operated by Live Nation.  If you've been waiting to check out the new and improved Ritz or if you're looking for an opportunity to return, we are here to highlight one of the upcoming shows that is guaranteed to be an unforgettable night!

On Tuesday night the rocktronica duo of Mike Stroud and Evan Mast, better known as Ratatat, will be stopping in to play alongside Jackson and His Computer Band. Based out of Brooklyn, NY, a live Ratatat performance is certain to be unlike any other show you've ever experienced.  From Stroud's masterful guitar playing to the tightly orchestrated beats and graphics provided by Mast, the energy in The Ritz is one you'll not want to miss.  Most recently the XL Recording duo released their first album in five years, Magnifique, after performing at major festivals in 2015 such as Coachella and Governor's Ball in NY.  The show is set to start at 8pm and tickets are still available at LiveNation.com.  For a preview of the funky good time to be had on Tuesday, check out "Cream of Chrome," from their newest album.  Get your tickets now and we'll see you there, Raleigh!
