Okeechobee Announces "Aquachobee"

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival announced its exclusive "AQUACHOBEE" beach zone as OMF continues to expand the possibilities of the modern festival experience. Florida's biggest ever camping festival, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is taking place March 3 -6 just outside Florida's magnificent Lake Okeechobee.

AQUACHOBEE will be situated in the heart of Okeechobee's Moonlight Oasis, where the Florida jungle meets the spectacular white sand beach. OMF's daytime hang out, AQUACHOBEE is a bona fide tropical haven where festivalgoers can swim, soak up the sun, or just chill out to live music from 9am to 9pm. Aquqchobee programming will run as a counterpoint to the all-night dance music of the nearby Jungle 51. An oversized Ferris wheel will offer epic vistas of Sunshine Grove's gorgeous landscape while the AQUACHOBEE bar will supply libations of all kinds, from fruit smoothies to delicious cocktails.

The AQUACHOBEE stage will host dawn-to-dusk performances from electronic artists, bands, and DJs including Hermitude, Twiddle, Manic Focus, Wolfram, Life on Planets, Mixmaster Morris, Jan Blomqvist, Dirk Largo, The Whitest Taino Alive, and many others.
Baltimore's acclaimed Life on Planets is exclusively releasing their latest track, "ReelLove," which is available for free download only via Okeechobee's SoundCloud. Major surprises and special guest performers are expected as well. On Thursday, fans can go to Aquachobee and watch the Okeechobee Allstars featuring Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company), Roosevelt Collier (The Lee Boys), Jeremy Salken (Big Gigantic) and very special guests. Communion Presents, one of the most exciting new international record labels and concert promoters, will be taking over the beach stage on Sunday during the day and showcase performances from T. Hardy Morris, Curtis Harding and Eryn Allen Kane.

Recently named by the New York Times as one of the places "Where Music Lovers Should Go In 2016," Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival boasts an extraordinary multi-genre bill, with more than 80 artists, bands, and DJs from around the globe performing across five signature stages.
